| "From the moment we entered and were met so graciously by Susan, we knew that this was the perfect place to be. We felt so welcomed and at home. Our room was splendid -- so luxurious. | "The Davis Square Inn guest book is so full of superlatives that I am hard-pressed to find an original one to describe our experience - tempted to just say "Ditto" and leave it at that, but here goes: A big thank you to Ron, Linde and Sue for this gem of a B & B in the heart of Somerville which is loaded with fabulous restaurants and world-class folk music featured at the Burren, and very convenient to transportation with the T station just around the corner. We visited to apartment-hunt with our daughter and couldn't have found a better base for our search. We appreciate the gracious professionalism, thoughtful hospitality, fabulous breakfasts and a parking space right on Davis Square! It was a joy to converse with guests from around the world at your breakfast table, and it was like returning home to walk in and be greeted with Linde's remarkable fresh baked muffins/sweet breads, and french press coffee/teas at anytime of the day or night. We were impressed with the comfort of the beds, the excellent shower, the selection of DVD's, and the aesthetic design, guest friendly features, and artistic touches everywhere you look. I run a tourist rooming house in Wisconsin which is a little different than a B & B and I appreciate that they go the extra mile to accommodate their guests and that the Davis Square Inn is a labor of love and the owners have managed to find a balance of efficiency and hospitality that sets a precedence.
